Executive Director
Michael White has worked in the community sector for more than 20 years in both the UK and Australia. Appointed to the CSHITB in 2007, his previous roles have included those of Director and Manager of training and development units in state and national organisations where he established and maintained RTOs, conducted consultancy and training for community service organisations (CSOs) and government departments, provided high level advice and policy development and implemented quality improvement and change management strategies at organisational and sectoral levels. Michael provides consultancy and training on governance, strategic planning and management to CSOs. Michael has previously lectured at TAFE in a range of business and communication subjects and mediated in workplace and family disputes. From 2002-2007, Michael has been involved with the CS&H ITB as a Board member, past chairperson and deputy, representing the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, the peak body for child, youth and family services in Victoria where he was previously Director, Learning and Development. Michael is a past board member and president of the Victorian Association for Dispute Resolution, a member of the Australian Institute of Management, VISTA and the Victorian Assessors Network.

Office Manager
Kim Yee came to Australia with her family from East Timor eighteen years ago. She completed VCE in Melbourne before commencing a two-year Associate Diploma of Business (Office Administration) at Swinburne TAFE. She worked for a building construction company as a receptionist and an accountant as a payroll officer before moving to take up a position at the Immigrant Women’s Domestic Violence Service as an Administrative Officer in 1999. Kim’s potential was apparent to her employers and she was promoted to Office Manager, a position she continued in for four years. In 2005, Kim completed the Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment at NMIT. Kim believes that her move to the CS&H ITB provides her with new opportunities and challenges in a broader sector. Early in 2008, Kim completed the Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) and she is currently undertaking the Diploma of Accounting. |
Senior Project Officer
Sue Picot has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons.) More recently, Sue completed the Diploma of Frontline Management and achieved a Statement of Attainment for 3 Workplace Assessor competencies. She is completing the Diploma in Professional Writing & Editing at RMIT. Sue trained as a state registered nurse (Division 1) working as a Staff Nurse at the Alfred Hospital, and for RDNS. Sue has been at the Board since 1995 doing research and project work. Before this, Sue undertook project work for the City of Darebin, for the Department of Human Services and worked as a Senior Policy and Program Officer for the Office of Corrections. |
Project Officer
Kelvin Lee has mapped articulation pathways for certificate qualified Division 2 nurses to advance to Higher Education degree courses and developed career pathway maps in the Health and Community Services sectors for students. He has strengths in project management, communication, desk research and report writing. Kelvin has also managed sustainable community-driven projects in Asian countries with community service and development agencies. He also has experience in post-disaster emergency relief projects on a professional and voluntary basis.
