New Executive Director of the CS&H ITB

Jacquie O'Brien has been appointed as the Executive Director to the CS&H ITB and will commence in early December. She has been working as Branch Director of the Victorian Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia where she has been leading the team responsible for developing and implementing the PSA's national education program.

 

A qualified nurse and midwife prior to changing career direction to become a teacher, Jacquie has worked for Skills Victoria (formerly OTTE) advising on apprenticeships and traineeships and in employment services. Jacquie is familiar with ITABs having worked previously as the Executive Director of the Victorian Food Industry Training Board Inc. More recently Jacquie has worked as a private consultant and as the Executive Director of Gateway Local Learning and Employment Network.

 

Annual General Meeting 2008 

The CS&H ITB AGM was held on 18 September 2008  followed by a light lunch. We were honoured to have two guest speakers; Andrew Marty, Managing Director, SACS Consulting, and HR Management veteran gave us an insight into "Leadership in Changing Times" and Sian Lewis, Executive Director, Training Operations for Skills Victoria touched on the Victorian Skills initiative in "The role of ITABS in the emerging skills environment". Conference 2008

Meeting/Training room for hire
You are now able to hire the conference room at the CS&H ITB for your meetings or training session. The room seats 20 around the board table or 35 theatrette style. The cost is $75/half day or $120/day including tea, coffee and biscuits. The room is equipped with a whiteboard and computer access. Access to a datashow projector can be arranged.

Your city office
If you are a rural teacher and need to access your emails, a computer, telephone, or an office space while you are in Melbourne you may like to use the facilities at the CS&H ITB. Contact us on 03 9347 0377 or email.
